Responses to violence of a political nature have an interesting way of unveiling the uglier parts of modern American political discourse. More particularly, the issue of political violence raises ethics and moral concerns that, I believe, reveal both the invented and collectively agreed upon nature of those morals as well as the conflict that arises when some choose to reject the agreement made by society.
