About

My Life
I was born August 27th, 2003 in the city of Asheville, North Carolina. For the next 18 years I called various parts of Western North Carolina my home.

As a child, I pursued a passion with film and television that cumulated in 2015-2016 when I briefly lived in the suburbs of Los Angeles and attended child acting conferences and agent meetups.

As that passion died down and the 2016 presidential election broiled over, an interest in politics emerged that became my primary fixation through middle and high school. During which I Independently published 4 political science and commentary books. I was also the host of two politics & news podcasts during high school.

I attended my first undergraduate semester at the George Washington University before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023, where I am earning my B.A. in Political Science with a minor in journalism, an interest that was simultaneously struck in me my senior year of high school.

I have been a contributing writer for two university student news publications, and continue to write on my substack account.
My Background
I am a writer and political scientist with an interdisciplinary set of interests aiming to understand the political subject and their world; In hopes of providing new theoretical and political courses of action for both to pursue in American politics.

I have been interested in politics since I was 14 years old, and while much has changed over the course of my professional career, the theme of political identity has stayed a constant interest throughout. Today, that takes the form of an interdisciplinary approach to understanding political identity, polarized partisan politics, and political community and national identity in the American context. For me, this inquiry is equal parts a study of social movements and interest groups, American studies, and an exigence of existentialist philosophy. I'm also interested in democratic theory and the meaning of representation based on these kinds of parameters.

I adopted a burgeoning interest in journalism and writing late in high school, learning the skills to the unique writing of AP style alongside my extensive experience with academic writing styles such as Chicago 17th ed. and APA style. This expansive knowledge base has made me a dynamic and expressive writer all-around.
