Opinion: There is no “real world” after college | The Niner Times

The stereotype of the college student is alive and well in 2026. Waged against anyone attaining a four-year degree in anything besides STEM or business, it assumes they are a kind of lazy, self-righteous idealist. When they question the systems that hold our world together or challenge the assumptions we make that show us our place in it, we levy against them the supposed fact that their fantastic visions of radical change do not fit within the laws of nature that govern 'the real world.'
