Opinion: Club culture is getting stale | The Niner Times

Charlotte's nightlife is an eclectic blend of Uptown class, a South End honky tonk and NoDa's artsy alternative dive bars. But in a city with so much nightlife — and its daylife trying to be somewhat equivalent — it's really no wonder Charlotte is considered boring on the weekdays from 9 to 5. If Charlotte wants to escape the charge of being a generic city with nothing to do while you wait to let it all loose on the weekend, it needs to invest in more all-ages development in spaces overcrowded with low-quality, overpriced clubs that blend together by the time you stumble home.
