Opinion: Charlotte is not a liberal school | The Niner Times

The primary argument of critics of higher education today is that American colleges and universities are indoctrinating students to be politically liberal. UNC Charlotte has been explicitly targeted by right-wing activist groups in the last year for this reason, leading to the firing of employees said to be coercively pushing political agendas after the dismantling of the University's former Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) offices and academic programs. But these spectacles of political 'indoctrination' are notable exceptions at a largely apolitical university, perhaps annoyingly so to some.
